2024–25 Euro Hockey Tour
The 2024–25 Euro Hockey Tour was the 29th season of Euro Hockey Tour. It started in November 2024 and lasted until May 2025. It consisted of Karjala Tournament, SWISS Ice Hockey Games, Beijer Hockey Games and Czech Hockey Games. Standings Karjala Tournament The Karjala Tournament was played between 7–10 November 2024. Five matches were played in Helsinki, Finland and one match in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. Tournament was won by Finland. SWISS Ice Hockey Games The 2024 SWISS Ice Hockey Games was played between 12 and 15 December 2024. Five matches was played in BCF Arena, Fribourg, Switzerland and one match in Enteria arena, Pardubice, Czech Republic. Tournament was won by Czech Republic. Beijer Hockey Games The 2025 Beijer Hockey Games was played between 6–9 February 2025. Tournament was won by Finland. Harri Pesonen
Harri Pesonen (born August 6, 1988) is a Finnish professional ice hockey left winger for the SCL Tigers of the National League (NL). He previously played in the NL with Lausanne HC and in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Ak Bars Kazan. Playing career Undrafted, Pesonen joined the Devils after seasons with Finnish Liiga club, JYP Jyväskylä on 16 June 2012. On March 16, 2013, Pesonen made his NHL debut playing with the New Jersey Devils in a loss against the Montreal Canadiens. After two seasons within the Devils organization and as a restricted free agent, Pesonen signed a two-year contract with Swiss club Lausanne HC of the NLA on May 20, 2014. BCF Arena
BCF Arena (formerly Patinoire Saint-Léonard) is an indoor sporting arena in Fribourg, Switzerland. Built in 1983 and then completely rebuilt from 2018 to 2020, the capacity of the arena is 9,262 spectators. It is the home arena of ice hockey team HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the National League. Major renovations began in the summer of 2018 to increase the arena's capacity from 6,500 to 8,934 and were completed two years later in the summer of 2020. The Czech Hockey Games, also sponsored as Carlson Hockey Games, is an annual ice hockey event held in Czech Republic. It is part of the Euro Hockey Tour. The Beijer Hockey Games (BHG, formerly known as Sweden Hockey Games) is an annual ice hockey tournament held in Sweden as part of the Euro Hockey Tour. It was cancelled after the 2013–14 season. However, on 19 January 2016, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association announced the tournament to be restarted for the 2016–17 season.
