2024–25 Detroit Pistons Season
The 2024–25 Detroit Pistons season was the 84th season of the franchise, the 77th in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the eighth in Midtown Detroit. This was the Pistons' first season under head coach J. B. Bickerstaff. This was also the Pistons' first season under a new president of basketball operations after finishing the previous season with the worst record in franchise history at 14–68. On January 1, 2025, following a win over the Orlando Magic, the Pistons surpassed the previous season's win total. On March 28, the Pistons secured their first winning season since 2016. They also became the second team in NBA history to triple their win total from the previous season, joining the 2012–13 Charlotte Bobcats, and the first to do so from the previous full season. Trajan Langdon
Trajan Shaka Langdon (born May 13, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former professional player. He is the current president of basketball operations for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A and shooting guard, he first gained fame in the U.S. while playing college basketball at Duke University. Following a three-year NBA stint, Langdon had a very successful career in Europe. A three-time All-EuroLeague Team member and the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in 2008, he won two EuroLeague titles with CSKA Moscow in 2006 and 2008. The 2024–25 Toronto Raptors season was the 30th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In honor of the Raptors' 30th season, they unveiled their 30th anniversary logo for this season. On April 1, the Raptors were eliminated from playoff contention for the 3rd consecutive season following a loss to the Chicago Bulls, becoming the last Eastern Conference team to be eliminated from competing in at least the NBA play-in tournament. Bobi Klintman
Bo "Bobi" Klintman (born 6 March 2003) is a Swedish professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft. Early life and high school career Klintman was born in Malmö, Sweden, to a Swedish mother and a father from Senegal. He attended Sweden's RIG Mark Academy in Kinna. The NBA draft lottery is an annual event held by the National Basketball Association (NBA), in which the teams who had missed the playoffs the previous year participate in a lottery process to determine the draft order in the NBA draft. The NBA draft lottery started in 1985. In the NBA draft, the teams obtain the rights to amateur U.S. college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. The lottery winner would get the first selection in the draft. A lottery pick denotes a draft pick whose position is determined through the lottery, while a non-playoff team involved in the process is often called a lottery team. The 2024 NBA draft was the 78th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual NBA draft, draft. Unlike recent years, the 2024 draft took place over two nights. This was the first NBA draft to be held on multiple nights since the draft was shortened to two rounds, with earlier drafts consisting of as few as three or as many as twenty-one rounds prior to the current format's debut in 1989.
