2024–25 Cypriot First Division
The 2024–25 Cypriot First Division (known as Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons), is the 86th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. APOEL are the defending champions, having won their 29th title in the 2023–24 season. Stadiums and locations : ''Note: Table lists clubs in alphabetical order.'' Structure 14 teams will participate in the league. In the first round, known as Regular Season, all teams play each other home and away, for a total of 26 games each. In the second round, the league splits into two groups: Teams ranked 1–6 enter the Championship Playoffs, whereas teams ranked 7–14 enter the Relegation playoffs. The teams in the Championship Playoffs play each other home and away for an additional 10 games each, while the teams in the Relegation Playoffs play each other only once, either home or away, for an additional 7 games each. The Cypriot First Division (), also known as the Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Cyprus and the highest level of the Cypriot football league system. Operated by the Cyprus Football Association, the league is contested by fourteen teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium () is a football stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus. It has a current seating capacity of 9230 and has been the home stadium of Anorthosis Famagusta since its completion in 1986. History The ground is the home of Anorthosis Famagusta FC and bears the name of an Anorthosis benefactor. Ethnikos Achna Football Club (), commonly known as Ethnikos Achna, or simply Ethnikos, is a Cypriot professional football club based in the village of Dasaki Achnas.
