2024–25 Chicago Bulls Season
The 2024–25 Chicago Bulls season was the 59th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On March 8, 2025, the Chicago Bulls' championship banners were damaged by pyrotechnics during a Disturbed concert, which caused their banners to be removed from sight from the general public for the rest of the season as the team looked to restore the damage done to them entering the following season. On April 1, the Chicago Bulls gained a play-in berth following a victory over the Toronto Raptors, being the last team in the Eastern Conference to get a secured spot in at least the NBA play-in tournament for the season. On April 16, the Bulls were eliminated from playoff contention for the third season in a row after losing in the first stage of the play-in tournament to the Miami Heat. Billy Donovan
William John Donovan Jr. (born May 30, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before moving to the NBA, he served as the head basketball coach at the University of Florida from 1996 to 2015, and led his Florida Gator teams to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007, as well as an NCAA championship appearance in 2000. Donovan was born and raised in Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York, where he played basketball at St. Agnes Cathedral High School. He was the starting point guard for Rick Pitino's Providence College squad and led the Friars to the 1987 Final Four. As such, he is one of only four men (Dean Smith, Joe B. Matas Arvidas Buzelis (born October 13, 2004) is a Lithuanian–American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted 11th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 2024 NBA draft. Early life and high school career Buzelis was born in Chicago on October 13, 2004. Both of his parents played basketball professionally in Lithuania before immigrating to the United States and settling in the Chicago area, where Buzelis was born and raised. Alec Jacoby "Coby" White (born February 16, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. White was a top high school player in North Carolina, finishing his career as the top prep scorer in state history. The 2024–25 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 55th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On May 23, 2024, the Cavaliers fired their head coach J. B. Westley Sissel Unseld Jr. (born September 20, 1975) is an American professional basketball coach who is an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Henry Domercant (born December 30, 1980) is an American and Bosnian-Herzegovinian professional basketball coach and former player currently working as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
