The 2024–25 Boston Bruins season was the List of Boston Bruins seasons, 101st season (100th season of play) for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on November 1, 1924. On April 5, 2025, the Bruins, despite a 5–1 victory against the 2024–25 Carolina Hurricanes season, Carolina Hurricanes, were eliminated from playoff contention, missing the playoffs for the first time since their 2015–16 Boston Bruins season, 2015–16 season following their rival 2024–25 Montreal Canadiens season, Montreal Canadiens' victory over the 2024–25 Philadelphia Flyers season, Philadelphia Flyers. This was the first time since 2006–07 Boston Bruins season, 2006–07 that the Bruins finished with a losing record. The Atlantic Division is a name used by the National Hockey League to describe a division of teams in the Eastern Conference (NHL), Eastern Conference. A coxless four, abbreviated as a 4- and also called a straight four, is a racing shell used in the sport of competitive rowing. It is designed for four persons who propel the boat with sweep oars, without a coxswain. The crew consists of four rowers, each having one oar. There are two rowers on the stroke side (rower's right hand side) and two on the bow side (rower's lefthand side). As there is no coxswain, the rudder is controlled by one of the crew, normally with the rudder cable attached to the toe of one of their shoes which can pivot about the ball of the foot, moving the cable left or right. Brandon Bussi is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently under contract with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League(NHL). He previously played college ice hockey for Western Michigan University in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Playing career Collegiate Bussi committed to playing college ice hockey for the Western Michigan University during the 2019–20 season. Michael DiPietro
Michael DiPietro (born June 9, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the third round, 64th overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL entry draft.
