2024 Indiana Fever Season
The 2024 Indiana Fever season was the franchise's 25th season in the WNBA, and their second season under head coach Christie Sides. The regular season tipped off against the Connecticut Sun in Connecticut on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The Fever won the 2024 WNBA Draft Lottery and were awarded the first overall pick for the second year in a row; they used it to select Caitlin Clark. The number one pick did not lead to a fast start to the season as the Fever lost their first five games, the closest of which was a two-point loss to Seattle on May 22. The 2022 WNBA Finals, officially the WNBA Finals 2022 presented by YouTube TV for sponsorship reasons, was the best-of-five championship series for the 2022 season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). 2024 Los Angeles Sparks Season
The 2024 WNBA season was the franchise's 28th season in the Women's National Basketball Association, and the second season under head coach Curt Miller. The season tipped off on May 15, 2024, in Long Beach versus the Atlanta Dream, and ended on September 19 against the Minnesota Lynx. The season started slowly for the Sparks as they lost both of their opening two games. They defeated Washington by two points on May 21 to earn their first win of the season. They lost the following two games including a one point loss to Dallas. They defeated Indiana before losing to Chicago to end the month with a 2–5 record. Their June started off with two losses as well. They won two games to follow including a victory at home against Last Vegas. 2024 Washington Mystics Season
The 2024 Washington Mystics season was the franchise's 27th season in the Women's National Basketball Association, and their second season under head coach Eric Thibault. The season tipped off on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at home against the New York Liberty. The Mystics lost the game by five-points, and the opening month of May did not improve much after that. The Mystics went on to lose all eight games they played in May, with the closest being a three-point loss to the Phoenix Mercury on May 23. The Mystics' losing streak continued through twelve games and they won their first game of the season on June 11, versus the Atlanta Dream. Including that win, the Mystics won four out of their next five games, with the only loss coming against Indiana.
