2024 USM Alger V RS Berkane Football Matches
The USM Alger-RS Berkane matches is a football matches, counting for the semi-finals of the 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup knockout stage, 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup. Each tie in the single-elimination tournament, knockout phase is being played over two-legged tie, two legs, with each team playing one leg at home. Due to the issue of the map of Morocco including Western Sahara on RS Berkane’s shirt, both matches were not played. The case was referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Fouzi Lekjaa (Berber languages, Berber: ⴼⵓⵣⵉ ⵍⴻⵇⵊⴰⵄ ; born on 23 July 1970) is a senior Morocco, Moroccan civil servant, sports executive and politician, who is the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation since 2014 and first vice president of the Confederation of African Football since 2025. The 5 July 1962 Stadium () (the name refers to 5 July 1962, the day Algeria declared independence), is a football and athletics stadium located in Algiers, Algeria. The 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup (officially the 2023–24 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 21st edition of Africa's secondary club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), under the current CAF Confederation Cup title after the merger of CAF Cup and African Cup Winners' Cup.
