2024 Torneo De Promoción Y Reserva
The Torneo de Promoción y Reserva was a football tournament in Peru. There are currently 18 clubs in the league. In addition, on the playing field there must be a minimum of five Under-19s (2005 category onwards), and a maximum of 6 Under-23s (2001 category), of which only two can be free category (over 23). Finally, a U-16 (2008 category onwards) will have to add 60 minutes per game. Additionally, the eight qualifiers for the 2024 Torneo de Promoción y Reserva's quarterfinals will directly access 2025 Liga 3. Club Cienciano, more commonly known as Cienciano, is a Peru, Peruvian professional association football, football club based in Cusco, that currently plays in the Peruvian Primera División. It gained worldwide recognition after defeating Club Atlético River Plate, River Plate in the finals of the 2003 Copa Sudamericana and Boca Juniors in the 2004 Recopa Sudamericana. The club is considered the largest and most successful in Cusco. Founded in 1901, the club is among the oldest in Peru and the oldest in Cusco. The club was founded on 8 July 1901 by a group of students of the ''National School of Sciences and Arts of Cuzco, Colegio Nacional Ciencias del Cusco,'' the oldest school in Peru. The National Stadium of Peru (, ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Lima, Peru. Its current capacity is 50,086 seats as stated by the Peruvian Football Federation without the lodges for some thousands more. 2023 Liga 1 (Peru)
The 2023 Liga 1 de Fútbol Profesional (known as the Liga 1 Betsson 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was the 107th season of the Peruvian Primera División, the highest division of Peruvian football. A total of 19 teams competed in the season, which began on 3 February and ended on 8 November 2023. The season was originally scheduled to begin on 21 January, but the first two matchdays were postponed due to the 2022–2023 Peruvian protests. The fixtures for the season were announced on 30 December 2022. Universitario were the champions, winning their twenty-seventh league title after defeating Alianza Lima in the two-legged final with a 3–1 aggregate score. Alejandro Villanueva Stadium
The Estadio Alejandro Villanueva, popularly known as Matute, is a football stadium located in the Matute neighborhood of the La Victoria district in Lima, Peru. The venue is owned by Club Alianza Lima, and it is here that the club plays at home in the Peruvian Primera División, and in international tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores or the Copa Sudamericana. The Estadio Campeones del 36 is a multi-use stadium in Sullana, Peru. It is used by the football team Alianza Atlético. The stadium holds 12,000 people and was built in 2000. It is a small stadium which was expanded. The venue name, ''Champions of 1936'', is misleading. No Peruvian League was actually played in 1936, as the national team was preparing itself to compete in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Germany. Alianza Atlético did, however, win a Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol (representing their home region, Piura) governed by the Peruvian Football Federation, and the name stuck despite not being recognized officially as national champions thereafter. Estadio Unión Tarma is a multi-use stadium in Tarma, Peru. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Asociación Deportiva Tarma (ADT) of the Liga 1, and Sport Dos de Mayo of the Copa Perú. The stadium has a capacity of 9,100 spectators. History The stadium was used by ADT since its construction in the 1980s, which a initial capacity of 6,000. Tarma
Santa Ana de la Ribera de Tarma, known as Tarma, is the capital city of Tarma Province in Junín Region, Peru. The city has a population of 43,042 as of the 2017 census. History Pre-Hispanic era Recent archaeological excavations show that prior to Inca occupation, the gorges of Tarma were settled by many ethnic groups. Club Sporting Cristal S.A., shortened to Sporting Cristal, is a Peruvian sports club located in the city of Lima, best known for its association football, soccer team.
