2024 Swiss Indoors – Singles
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard defeated Ben Shelton in the final, 6–4, 7–6(7–4) to win the singles title at the 2024 Swiss Indoors. It was his second ATP Tour title and first at the ATP 500 level. Mpetshi Perricard became the lowest-ranked champion since the tournament became a tour-level event in 1975 and the first unseeded player to win the tournament since Jiří Novák in 2004. Félix Auger-Aliassime was the two-time defending champion, but lost to eventual champion Mpetshi Perricard in the second round. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (; born 8 July 2003) is a French professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 29, achieved on 24 February 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 208, achieved on 5 May 2025. He is currently the No. 3 French player. Early life Mpetshi Perricard was born in Lyon to Ghislain Mpetshi and Sylvie Perricard; his father is a Congolese former semi-professional footballer, while his mother is a former volleyball player. He has two sisters, Ariane and Daphnée, the latter of whom is also a tennis player. Junior career Mpetshi Perricard won the 2021 French Open boys' doubles title, partnered with compatriot Arthur Fils. He also reached the semifinals of the singles tournament, losing to Fils. Stan Wawrinka
Stanislas "Stan" Wawrinka (; born 28 March 1985) is a Swiss professional tennis player. He has been ranked world No. 3 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), first achieved on 27 January 2014. Wawrinka has won 16 ATP Tour-level singles titles, including three majors at the 2014 Australian Open, 2015 French Open and the 2016 US Open, where he defeated the world No. 1 player in the final on all three occasions. Tallon Griekspoor (; born 2 July 1996) is a Dutch professional tennis player. David Goffin (; born 7 December 1990) is a Belgian professional tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ATP rankings, ranking of world No. 7, making him the highest ranked male player from Belgium in tennis history.
