Katie Boulter defeated Marta Kostyuk in the final, 5–7, 6–2, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 San Diego Open. It was her second WTA Tour title and first WTA 500 title. Katie Charlotte Boulter (born 1 August 1996) is an English professional tennis player. On 4 November 2024, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 23. On 6 January 2025, she peaked at No. 277 in the WTA doubles rankings. Boulter has won three singles titles on the WTA Tour as well as seven singles titles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. She is the former British No. 1 in women's singles. Boulter was ranked the No. 10 junior tennis player in the world in March 2014. She is based at the Lawn Tennis Association's National Tennis Centre in Roehampton and was coached by Jeremy Bates, Nigel Sears and Mark Taylor. Caroline Dolehide ( ; born September 5, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 41 on 2 October 2023 and a doubles ranking of No. 9 on 26 August 2024. Dolehide has won two WTA Tour and one WTA 125 doubles titles, and also 17 titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, eight in singles and nine in doubles. Marina Stakusic ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Стакушић, Marina Stakušić; born 27 November 2004) is a Canadian professional tennis player. Marina Anatolyevna Melnikova (; born 5 February 1989) is a Russian tennis player. She has won seven singles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Katherine Hui (born 29 January 2005) is an American tennis player. She became the girls' singles champion at the 2023 US Open. Early and personal life From San Diego, California, Hui graduated from Santa Fe Christian High School in 2023 and committed to Stanford University.
