2024 Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2024 Mountain West Conference men's basketball tournament is the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Mountain West Conference. It was held March 13–16, 2024, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in Paradise, Nevada. The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Seeds The defending champions from the prior season were the San Diego State Aztecs. All 11 Mountain West schools will participate in the tournament. Teams are to be seeded by conference record with a tiebreaker system to seed teams with identical percentages. The top five teams will receive byes into the tournament quarterfinals. The remaining teams will play in the first round. The Mountain West Conference men's basketball tournament is held annually to determine the men's basketball champion from the Mountain West Conference. The winner receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Basketball tournament, although they did not in the 1998-1999 season, the conference's first year in existence.
