Sofia Kenin and Bethanie Mattek-Sands defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the final, 4–6, 7–6(7–5), [11–9] to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2024 Miami Open. Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula were the defending champions, but lost in the first round to Ashlyn Krueger and Sloane Stephens. Hsieh Su-wei retained the List of WTA number 1 ranked doubles tennis players, WTA No. 1 doubles ranking after Storm Hunter and her partner Kateřina Siniaková withdrew from their first-round match. } Sofia Anna "Sonya" Kenin (born November 14, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. She has been WTA rankings, ranked as high as world No. 4 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association, WTA, and No. 26 in doubles. Kenin was named the 2020 WTA Player of the Year, an award earned by winning the 2020 Australian Open – Women's singles, Australian Open and finishing runner-up at the 2020 French Open – Women's singles, French Open. She has won five singles and four doubles titles on the WTA Tour, the latter including the 2019 China Open – Women's doubles, 2019 China Open and 2024 Miami Open – Women's doubles, 2024 Miami Open partnering Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
