2024 La Drôme Classic
The 2024 La Drôme Classic, officially the Faun Drôme Classic due to sponsorships, was the 11th edition of the La Drôme Classic, Drôme Classic cycle race. It was held on 25 February 2024 as a category 1.Pro race on the 2024 UCI ProSeries. The race started and finished in Étoile-sur-Rhône and featured several climbs throughout. It formed a pair of races on the same weekend with the 2024 Faun-Ardèche Classic, 2024 Classic Sud-Ardèche, Faun-Ardèche Classic, held on the previous day. Teams Nine of the eighteen UCI WorldTeams, six UCI Professional Continental, UCI ProTeams, and three UCI Continental teams made up the eighteen teams that participated in the race, with a total of 120 riders. 2024 UCI ProSeries
The 2024 UCI ProSeries was the fifth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road bicycle racing, road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The calendar consisted of 55 events, of which 33 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 22 are stage races (2.Pro). There were 49 events in Europe, five in Asia, and one in the United States. Benoît Cosnefroy (; born 17 October 1995 in Cherbourg) is a French cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Junior and amateur years Cosnefroy was born into a family passionate about cycling. Corbin Strong (born 30 April 2000) is a New Zealand road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . He won the points race and finished second in the team pursuit at the 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Mattias Skjelmose Jensen (born 26 September 2000) is a Danish professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Marc Hirschi (born 24 August 1998) is a Swiss cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam .
