Sonay Kartal defeated Rebecca Šramková in the final, 6–3, 7–5 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Jasmin Open. It was her first WTA Tour title, and she lost only one set en route, in the first round against Jaqueline Cristian. Sonay Kartal (born 28 October 2001) is a British tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of world No. 49 in singles, achieved 23 June 2025. She has won one WTA Tour title and 14 ITF titles, all in singles. Early life Kartal was born in Sidcup, London, and lives in the city of Brighton and Hove.
