2024 Esports World Cup – League Of Legends
The multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game ''League of Legends'' had a tournament at the 2024 Esports World Cup, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 4 to 7, 2024. Eight teams took part in this tournament, marketed as Esports World Cup presenting League of Legends, two each from the four major competitive regions – LCS (North America), LEC (EMEA), LCK (Korea) and LPL (China). T1 would win the tournament, beating Top Esports 3-1 in the final. Format The eight teams that participate in the tournament were put into a single-elimination bracket, not unlike the one used at the ''League of Legends'' World Championship. The 2024 Mid-Season Invitational was the ninth Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), a Riot Games-organised tournament for ''League of Legends'', a multiplayer online battle arena video game. The tournament was hosted in Chengdu, China, from May 1 to 19, 2024. All stages of the tournament were played at the .
