2024 Copa América Group A
Group A of the 2024 Copa América was one of four groups in the first stage of the tournament. The tournament involved List of men's national association football teams, national teams from CONMEBOL (South America) but also includes invited teams from the CONCACAF region (North, Central America and the Caribbean), that qualified via the 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League. The group was made up of 2021 Copa América final, defending, eventual, and 2022 FIFA World Cup final, incumbent world champions Argentina national football team, Argentina, Peru national football team, Peru and Chile national football team, Chile, all three from CONMEBOL, and Canada men's national soccer team, Canada from CONCACAF. 2024 Copa América
The 2024 Copa América was the 48th edition of the Copa América, the quadrennial international men's association football, soccer championship organized by South America's football ruling body CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in the United States from June 20 to July 14, 2024, and was co-organized by CONCACAF. This was the second time that the United States hosted the tournament, having hosted the Copa América Centenario in 2016.
