2024 British Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2024 British motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Monster Energy British Grand Prix) was the tenth round of the 2024 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone on 4 August 2024. All 11 teams and riders have officially unveiled their special liveries ahead of this weekend’s 75th anniversary celebrations at the Monster Energy British Grand Prix. Monster Energy is a brand of energy drink, energy drinks that was created by Hansen Natural Company (now Monster Beverage Corporation) in April 2002. In 2022, Monster Energy had a 30.1% Market share, share of the American energy drink market, the second-highest after Red Bull. Adrián Fernández González (born 31 January 2004) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. His older brother, Raúl, is also a motorcycle racer for Trackhouse Racing in the MotoGP class. They are not related to MotoGP rider Augusto Fernández. Maverick Viñales
Maverick Viñales Ruiz (; born 12 January 1995) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix motorcycle racer, riding for Red Bull KTM Tech3 in the MotoGP class. He won the 2013 Moto3 World Championship. After five seasons as a MotoGP factory rider with the Yamaha Motor Racing, Yamaha Factory Racing team, his contract was terminated by mutual consent midway through the 2021 MotoGP World Championship, 2021 season. He raced with the Aprilia Racing team in the 2022-2024 seasons before moving to Red Bull KTM Tech3 in 2025. Álex Márquez
Álex Márquez Alentà (born 23 April 1996) is a Grand Prix motorcycle rider from Spain racing for Ducati satellite team BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP. He has competed in MotoGP since the 2020 season, having previously become World Champion in the 2019 Moto2 World Championship. He also won the 2014 Moto3 World Championship, and the 2012 CEV Moto3 season's title. Álex currently races alongside Fermín Aldeguer on the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team. His brother Marc Márquez also races in MotoGP and is currently on the Ducati team. Pedro Acosta (motorcyclist)
Pedro Acosta Sánchez (born 25 May 2004) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in MotoGP for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. Acosta took his maiden win in only his second Moto3 race at the 2021 Doha motorcycle Grand Prix after starting from the pitlane as a penalty for a disciplinary infringement that originated in free practice. In the same season, he won the 2021 Moto3 World Championship becoming the first rookie champion since Loris Capirossi in 1990, and the second youngest ever champion, just one day older than Capirossi was at the time of winning. Álex Rins Navarro (born 8 December 1995) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer for the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team in the MotoGP class. He was the 2011 CEV Buckler 125 Junior GP Champion, and made his Grand Prix motorcycle racing debut in the Moto3 World Championship during the season. Career Moto3 World Championship Born in Barcelona, Rins began his career in Moto3 with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. In his second meeting, Rins took pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. He took his first podium in France, with third place. He scored no further podiums, but was very consistent throughout the remainder of the season, regularly finishing in the top ten. Collin Veijer (born 19 February 2005) is a Dutch Grand Prix motorcycle racer who competes in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship for Red Bull KTM Ajo. Career Early career Veijer was born in Staphorst, Netherlands, and started riding minibikes from a young age, winning the Dutch Minibike Championship at the age of 8. Veijer joined the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2020, finishing 10th in his rookie season. He also participated in the European Talent cup where he finished 16th.
