2024 ATP Tour
The 2024 ATP Tour was the global elite men's professional tennis circuit organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for the 2024 tennis season. The 2024 ATP Tour calendar comprises the Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, supervised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the ATP Finals, the ATP Masters 1000, the United Cup (organized with the Women's Tennis Association, WTA), the ATP 500 series and the ATP 250 series. Also included in the 2024 calendar are the Davis Cup (organised by the ITF), the Tennis at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Summer Olympics in Paris, Next Generation ATP Finals, Next Gen ATP Finals and Laver Cup, none of which distribute ranking points. Jannik Sinner (born 16 August 2001) is an Italian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked as the List of ATP number 1 ranked singles tennis players, world No. 1 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP, the first Italian to reach the top ranking. Mate Pavić (; born 4 July 1993) is a Croatian professional tennis player. He is the current world No. 1 in doubles by the ATP. Pavić is one of only six men to complete the Career Golden Slam in doubles. He is a seven-time Grand Slam champion, having won four titles in men's doubles: the 2018 Australian Open with Oliver Marach, the 2020 US Open with Bruno Soares, the 2021 Wimbledon Championships with Nikola Mektić, and the 2024 French Open with Marcelo Arévalo. Jannik Sinner defeated Taylor Fritz in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 ATP Finals. Sinner became the first Italian to win the title, and did not drop a set en route, the first to do so since Ivan Lendl in 1986. He dropped just 33 games to win the title, the fewest in the tournament's history. Fritz became the first American to reach the championship match since James Blake in 2006. 2024 US Open – Men's Singles
Jannik Sinner defeated Taylor Fritz in the final, 6–3, 6–4, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 US Open. It was his second major title. Sinner became the fourth (and youngest) man to win both hardcourt singles majors (Australian Open and US Open) in the same year, after Mats Wilander, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, and the first to win his first two major singles titles in the same year since Guillermo Vilas in 1977. Jannik Sinner defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final, 3–6, 3–6, 6–4, 6–4, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Australian Open. It was his first major singles title. Sinner was the second Italian man in the Open Era to win a singles major, after Adriano Panatta at the 1976 French Open.
