2024–25 Oregon State Beavers Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Oregon State Beavers men's basketball team represented Oregon State University in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Beavers, led by eleventh-year head coach Wayne Tinkle, played their home games at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon, as first year associate members of the West Coast Conference. Previous season The Beavers finished the 2023–24 season 13–19, 5–15 in Pac-12 play to finish in last place. They lost to UCLA in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament. Wayne Tinkle
Wayne Francis Tinkle II (born January 26, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Oregon State Beavers men's basketball, Oregon State Beavers men's team of the West Coast Conference. Prior to his arrival in Corvallis, Oregon, Corvallis in 2014, he was the head coach for eight seasons in the Big Sky Conference at his alma mater, Montana Grizzlies basketball, Montana, preceded by five years with the Griz as an assistant coach. Tinkle played professionally for twelve seasons until 2000, including stints in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and International Basketball League (IBL) and in Sweden, Spain, Italy, and Greece. Chol Marial
Chol Beny Marial (born 1 November 1999) is a South Sudanese college basketball player for the San Jose State Spartans of the Mountain West Conference. He previously played for the Maryland Terrapins and the Oregon State Beavers. Early life Marial was born in Rumbek, a city in what is now known as South Sudan. He grew up away from areas of war and famine, which were prevalent across the country. Marial played soccer from age five but was soon held back by his exceptional height and started playing basketball in 2013. In the same year, he was discovered at a Basketball Without Borders camp in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represents the University of Idaho, located in Moscow, Idaho, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Big Sky Conference. Encino is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. History Etymology The name Encino is the misspelling in masculine of Encina, the Spanish word for "holm oak” (Quercus ilex).
