Jong Uichico
Joseph Enrique "Jong" Floro Uichico (born July 15, 1962) is a Filipino professional basketball coach who is currently serving as the head coach of NLEX Road Warriors in the Philippine Basketball Association. Uichico is a former Philippine national team Youth member and a former player and head coach of the La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP before replacing Ron Jacobs as SMB coach in 1999. Uichico was coach of the San Miguel Beermen from 1999–2006, leading the Beermen to six PBA championships. Basketball career Uichico played for the La Salle Green Archers in the collegiate ranks. He was a member of the 1982 RP Youth Team that won the ABC Under-18 Championship. After a stint with the famed Northern Consolidated Cement squad of Ron Jacobs, Uichico ended his basketball career early. Adonis Tierra
In Greek mythology, Adonis (; ) was the mortal lover of the goddesses Aphrodite and Persephone. He was considered to be the ideal of male beauty in classical antiquity. The myth goes that Adonis was gored by a wild boar during a hunting trip and died in Aphrodite's arms as she wept; his blood mingled with her tears and became the anemone flower. The Adonia festival commemorated his tragic death, celebrated by women every year in midsummer. During this festival, Greek women would plant "gardens of Adonis", small pots containing fast-growing plants, which they would set on top of their houses in the hot sun. Bethune "Siot" Tanquingcen is a Filipino professional basketball head coach. He is currently an assistant coach for the NU Bulldogs and the NLEX Road Warriors. Emman Monfort
Emmanuel N. Monfort (born July 2, 1989) is a Filipino basketball coach and former player. He is an assistant coach for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 16th overall in the 2012 PBA draft by Barako Bull Energy Cola. At 5’6” 1/16 inches, he is one of the shortest players in PBA history. Monfort won three championships during his collegiate career with the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP from 2009 to 2011. He also won a gold medal in the 2011 SEA Games. Early life In Grade 3, Monfort started playing organized basketball. He started out as a benchwarmer for St. Joseph's Grade School Iloilo. Carmelo "Melo" Lim is a Filipino coach and former collegiate player who is currently serving as an assistant coach for NLEX Road Warriors since 2023. He is the son of former collegiate champion coach Frankie Lim. Basketball career Playing Lim played for San Beda Red Lions under the tutelage of his father.
