2023–24 Taipei Mars Season
The 2023–24 Taipei Mars season was the franchise's 1st season, its first season in the T1 League. The Mars were coached by Brian Adams in his first year as their head coach, with Lin You-Ting as their general manager. On December 31, the Mars announced that Brian Adams resigned from head coach. On January 3, 2024, the Mars named Hsu Hao-Cheng, the assistant coach of the Taipei Mars, as their interim head coach. Brian Adams is an American basketball coach who is as an assistant coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team. He grew up in the state of New York. Coaching career College Coaching Career Brian Adams was hired as coach for Harvard University and Marist College Agua Caliente Clippers On August 1, 2018, Adams was named the head coach after previously serving as a player development coach with the Los Angeles Clippers. 2022 T1 League Draft
The 2022 T1 League draft was the second edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was held on July 12, 2022, at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei City. There were six teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Wagor Suns, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, TaiwanBeer HeroBears, and the Taoyuan Leopards. The Chinese Culture University (CCU; ) is a private Taiwanese university located in Yangmingshan in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. The Taichung Suns ( zh, 臺中太陽) were a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taichung City. The 2024 T1 League draft was the fourth edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was originally scheduled to hold on July 11, 2024, in Taipei City. There were five teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei Mars, and the Taiwan Beer Leopards. On July 1, the new league preparation committee announced that P. League+ and T1 League would jointly hold the united draft on July 15.
