The 2023–24 Croatian Second Football League (also known as Druga nogometna liga and SuperSport Druga NL) was the 33rd edition of the third tier of Croatian football league and 2nd season of the restructured Druga nogometna liga. Second Football League (Croatia)
The Croatian Second Football League (), commonly Druga NL or 2. NL, is the third tier of the Croatian football league system. The league was established in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav League. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. It was previously known as the Third Football League, but was renamed with the other leagues for the start of the 2022–23 season. Rules , at least three players under 21 years of age must play in each match, and only two foreign nationals are permitted to play for each team. Format Since its inception in 1992, the league has changed formats several times. In its inaugural season, the league had four divisions (North, Center, South and West). In the 1992–93 season, a fifth division was added (East). Stadion Kantrida
Kantrida Stadium () is a football stadium in the Croatian city of Rijeka. It is named after the Kantrida neighbourhood in which it is located, in the western part of the city. It has served as the home of the HNK Rijeka football club for most years since at least 1918. The stadium has a distinctive appearance as it is situated between steep cliffs, a remnant of an old quarry, just north of the stadium and the shore of the Adriatic on its south side. NK Karlovac 1919 is a Croatian football club based in the town of Karlovac. Karlovac plays their home matches at Stadion Branko Čavlović-Čavlek. History Traditionally lower-level minnows, the club's most successful period in the Yugoslav football league system was in the 1970s when they competed in the Yugoslav Second League. NK Jadran Poreč is a Croatian football club based in the city of Poreč. It was founded in 1948 by Croatian handball player Lujo Györy. History Jadran began play in the Croatian second division in 1992–93. Jadran won the 1996-97 3.HNL ''zapad'' (west) group.
