2023–24 Oregon State Beavers Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Oregon State Beavers women's basketball team represented Oregon State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Beavers were led by fourteenth-year head coach Scott Rueck, and they played their games at Gill Coliseum as members of the Pac-12 Conference. This was their final season as Pac-12 member as they will join West Coast Conference as affiliate member for the next two years. Previous season The Beavers finished the 2022–23 season 13–18, 4–14 in Pac-12 play to finish in tenth place. As the No. 10 seed in the Pac-12 tournament, they defeated USC in the first round before losing to Colorado in the quarterfinals. Scott Rueck
Scott Michael Rueck (born July 18, 1969) is the head coach of the Oregon State University women's basketball team. Early life Rueck grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he graduated from Glencoe High School. His father had been the first boys' basketball coach at Glencoe and had also been a coach at Hillsboro High School. After high school, he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science in 1991. While at OSU he started his coaching career at Santiam Christian High School in nearby Adair Village where he was an assistant with the boys' basketball team from 1989 until 1993. In 1992, he earned a master's degree from Oregon State in physical education. Appleton East High School is a comprehensive secondary school located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Sam Barlow High School (SBHS, colloquially Barlow) is a public high school in Gresham, Oregon, United States, in the Gresham-Barlow School District. It was named after the Oregon pioneer Sam Barlow. History Sam Barlow High School opened in September 1968 in its present location at 302nd Street and Lusted Road, east of Gresham, Oregon. Teacher Stephen Corkett received the University of Oregon's high school teacher of the year award in 2009. California Golden Bears Women's Basketball
The California Golden Bears women's basketball team is the women's college basketball team of the University of California, Berkeley. The program has been to the NCAA tournament a total of nine times, and won three conference championships. The current head coach is Charmin Smith, who was hired on June 21, 2019. The team plays its home games at Haas Pavilion, which was built on top of the old Harmon Gymnasium using money donated in part by the owners of Levi-Strauss.
