2023–24 Midlands Football League
The 2023–24 Midlands Football League was the third season of the Midlands Football League, part of the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. Carnoustie Panmure were the reigning champions for the second season in a row, but could only finish fifth in the table. Dundee North End won their first title following the culmination of a 34-match unbeaten run, overhauling Broughty Athletic's tally of 103 points by a point. Dundee North End had won their last thirteen games, seven of which were played after Broughty Athletic's final match. SJFA East Region
The Scottish Junior Football Association, East Region is one of two regions of the SJFA, which currently organises the Midlands Football League, Midlands League and local cup competitions. The SJFA was previously split into six regions, but in 2002 the decision was taken to reform into three to try to ensure more games between the top clubs and hence increase their revenues; at that time the East Region was created by amalgamating the former East Junior Football League, East (Lothians), Fife Junior Football League, Fife and Tayside Junior Football League, Tayside Regions. The 2024–25 Midlands Football League was the 4th season of the Midlands Football League, part of the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. Reigning champions Dundee North End and Broughty Athletic went into the final round of matches with a chance to win the championship - but, North End's 9–0 win over East Craigie gave them the title by 2 points, having gone 26 games unbeaten. 2022–23 North Region Junior Football League
The 2022–23 North Region Junior Football League was the 21st season of the North Region Junior Football League for SJFA North Region member clubs, and the 2nd season with its top division as part of the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. The league reverted back to a two-tier setup, featuring a 14-team Premier League and 16-team Championship. Banks O' Dee were the reigning champions but were unable to defend their title after gaining promotion to the Highland League. Culter won a record eighth title, and their first since 2013–14, winning all but two of their first twenty-four games, giving them an unassailable five-point lead over Hermes, ahead of the latter's final game. As a result, Culter entered the 2023–24 Scottish Cup at the preliminary round stage. SJFA North Region
The Scottish Junior Football Association, North Region is one of the two regions of the Scottish Junior Football Association. Its area covers Grampian and Moray as well as part of the Highland and Angus council areas – from Montrose in the south to Nairn in the west. The North Region features three region-wide divisions, having reverted from the previous setup of two regional divisions below the North Superleague used for five seasons prior to 2018.
