2023–24 Liberty Lady Flames Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Liberty Lady Flames basketball team represented Liberty University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Flames, led by 25th-year head coach Carey Green, played their home games at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg, Virginia as first-year members of Conference USA (C-USA). The Lady Flames finished the season 18–16, 11–5 in C-USA play, to finish in a tie for second place. They defeated 2023–24 Western Kentucky Lady Toppers basketball team, Western Kentucky and 2023–24 New Mexico State Aggies women's basketball team, New Mexico State, before falling to top-seeded 2023–24 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders women's basketball team, Middle Tennessee in the 2024 Conference USA women's basketball tournament, C-USA tournament championship game. The Lipscomb Bisons women's basketball team is the women's basketball team that represents Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The school's team currently competes in the ASUN Conference. History In 2004, Lipscomb finished in a four way tie for the regular season crown with Georgia Southern, Belmont, and UCF. In the conference tournament, they beat UCF 64–62 to win their first ever Atlantic Sun Conference tournament championship. The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) is a collegiate athletic conference operating mostly in the Southeastern United States.
