2023–24 FC Pyunik Season
The 2023–24 season was Pyunik's 30th season in the Armenian Premier League. Season overview On 23 June, Arthur Avagyan extended his contract with Pyunik until 31 May 2024, whilst Nikita Baranov extended his contract with Pyunik until 31 December 2024. On 24 June, Pyunik announced that David Davidyan had made his loan move from Khimki permanent, signing a contract until the summer of 2025. On 28 June, Pyunik announced the signing of Artak Grigoryan who'd last played for Alashkert. The following day, Arman Hovhannisyan joined Pyunik from Ararat Yerevan, and Taofiq Jibril joined after he'd left Ararat-Armenia. On 2 July, Yusuf Otubanjo extended his contract with Pyunik until the summer of 2025. On 10 July, Pyunik announced the signing of Vagner Gonçalves on loan for the season from Dinamo Tbilisi. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 34 won to date. Pyunik is also known to be one of the most popular football clubs in Armenia, along with Urartu, Shirak and Ararat. Pyunik has always had a fierce rivalry with Ararat, as both clubs are considered to be the most successful clubs in Armenia, the latter due to its Soviet accomplishments. Arman Hovhannisyan
Arman Hovhannisyan (, born 7 July 1993) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ararat Yerevan and the Armenia national team. Career Born in Yerevan, Hovhannisyan is a product of his native Pyunik Yerevan youth sportive system and signed first contract with this club in 2009. Subsequently, he played for another Armenian Premier League football clubs. In July 2017 Hovhannisyan signed two years contract with the Ukrainian Premier League Zirka Kropyvnytskyi. He made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for FC Zirka on 16 July 2017, playing in a match against FC Karpaty Lviv. On 12 February 2020, FC Tobol announced the signing of Hovhannisyan. BKMA Yerevan
FC BKMA Yerevan ( or ; ''Banaki Kentronakan Marzakan Akumb Yerevan''; ) is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan. History During the days of the Soviet rule in Armenia, the Central Sport Club of the Army Yerevan was founded in 1947 in Yerevan. It was commonly known with its Russian abbreviation as CSKA Yerevan. After the independence of Armenia in 1991, the BKMA made their professional debut in domestic football competitions in the 1994 Armenian First League where they finished 3rd. In the 1995–96 Armenian First League season, they finished 2nd behind FC Arabkir, to get the opportunity to face Aragats Gyumri in the promotion play-off match in which they beat the Armenian Premier League side and were promoted for the following season. Halfway through the 1997 season, BKMA were folded and all their remaining matches were awarded 3–0 to their opponents, resulting in the 12th and last position and relegation. Sam Hendriks (born 25 January 1995) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik. Régis Tosatti Giacomin (born 16 January 1998), simply known as Régis, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Al Dhaid. FC Dinamo Tbilisi ( ka, დინამო თბილისი, ) is a Georgian professional football club based in Tbilisi that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top flight of Georgian football.
