2023–24 FC Midtjylland Season
The 2023–24 season is FC Midtjylland's 25th season in existence, and its 23rd consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, the top tier of football in Denmark. As a result of the club's seventh-place finish and playoff win during the 2022–23 Danish Superliga, it participated in the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League and will also compete in the 2023–24 Danish Cup. Midtjylland finished the 2023–24 season on top of the Danish Superliga, earning the club's fourth league title and qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League. Football Club Midtjylland (, "Central Jutland") is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won four times, most recently in 2024. Midtjylland is known as one of the best football clubs in the western part of Jutland. 2022–23 Danish Superliga
The 2022–23 Danish Superliga (officially the 3F Superliga for sponsorship purposes) was the 33rd season of the Danish Superliga. Copenhagen were the defending champions. The season began on 15 July 2022 and ended on 9 June 2023. Teams Vejle and SønderjyskE finished the 2021–22 season in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 2022–23 1st Division. The relegated teams were replaced by 2021–22 1st Division Champions AC Horsens and second place Lyngby Boldklub, who both returned after one season's absence. Joel Andersson
Eric Joel Andersson (born 11 November 1996) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland. He is the twin brother of Adam Andersson. Club career BK Häcken A native of Gothenburg, Andersson started playing football with Västra Frölunda IF. At the age of 15, he also made some appearances for the first team, who at the time were competing in the fourth-tier Division 2. Lee Han-beom (; born 17 June 2002) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland and the South Korea national team.
