2023–24 Bahraini Premier League
The 2023–24 Bahraini Premier League (also known as Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League) was the 67th top-level football season in Bahrain. The regular season started on 22 September 2023 and ended on 20 May 2024. The relegation play-offs then commenced on 23 May and concluded on 31 May 2024. Al-Khaldiya, the defending champions won their second consecutive and second league title in total. The top two teams of the group qualified for the 2024–25 edition of the Bahraini Premier League and the bottom two teams qualified for the 2024–25 edition of the Bahraini Second Division. Bahraini Premier League
The Bahraini Premier League is the main domestic football competition in the kingdom of Bahrain. Currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, the first season was held in 1956-1957. The winners of the domestic championship qualify for the AFC Champions League Two. The championship is currently contested by 12 clubs. Structure Current structure 12 clubs currently play a two round robin set of fixtures totaling 22 games in order to determine the league champions. Although games are theoretically to be played on a home and away basis, almost all games are played at the National Stadium. The eleventh and twelfth-placed clubs are relegated with the ninth and tenth entering the relegation play-offs. Manama Club (football)
Manama Club () is a Bahraini professional football club based in Manama. Founded in 1946, the club competes in the Bahraini Premier League, the top flight of football in the country. Manama Club, formally known as Al Taj, is a well-known basketball club in the Gulf and Asia. They have won two Gulf Championships, and were the first-ever Bahraini club and only the second Gulf club to come in third place in the 2000 ABC Champions Cup. Manama Club has won over 45 basketball titles in domestic competitions. The club is not as successful in football, however they won their first two titles, the Bahraini King's Cup and Bahraini Super Cup, in 2017. Abdullah Al-Hashash
Abdullah Al-Hashash (; born 25 January 1996) is a Bahraini professional footballer who plays as a forward for Al-Ahli Club, and the Bahrain national team. Club career Al-Hashash began his senior career with Busaiteen Club in the Bahraini Premier League in 2019. He then moved to defending champion Al-Hidd on 2 November 2020. On 25 June 2021, he moved to Budaiya on loan, where he became top scorer. In 2022, he moved to Al-Ahli Club on 19 May 2022.
