2023 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2022–23 Segunda División play-offs were played from 3 June to 17 June 2023 and determined the third team promoted to 2023–24 La Liga, La Liga for the following season. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position took part in the promotion play-offs. Regulations The regulations were the same as the previous season: in the semi-finals, the fifth-placed team faced the fourth-placed team, while the sixth-placed team faced the third. Each tie was played over Two-legged tie, two legs, with the team lower in the table hosting the first leg. The team that scored more goals on aggregate over the two legs advanced to the next round. If the aggregate score was level, then thirty minutes of Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time would be played. Sergio Álvarez Díaz (born 23 January 1992) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Segunda División club Eibar. Club career Sporting Gijón Álvarez was born in Avilés, Asturias. A product of Sporting de Gijón's prolific youth academy, Mareo, the 17-year-old made it to the reserves during the 2009–10 season, with the side playing in the Segunda División B. Roberto "Rober" Antonio Correa Silva (born 20 September 1992) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Racing de Ferrol. Club career Born in Badajoz, Extremadura, Correa joined Rayo Vallecano's youth academy in 2010, aged 18. He made his senior debut with the reserves in the 2011–12 season, in the Segunda División B. José Manuel Rodríguez Benito (born 3 March 1992), known as Chema, is a Spanish professional footballer. Mainly a central defender, he can also play as a left-back. Yoel Rodríguez Oterino (born 28 August 1988), known simply as Yoel (), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Racing de Ferrol. Ander Cantero Armendariz (born 9 January 1995) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Burgos CF.
