2023 Euro Beach Soccer League
The 2023 Euro Beach Soccer League was the 26th edition of the ''Euro Beach Soccer League'' (EBSL), the annual, premier competition in European beach soccer featuring men's national teams. It was organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). This season, the competing teams continued to take part in two divisions: the top tier (Division A) and the bottom tier (Division B). As planned last season, Division A was expanded from 12 to 16 teams this year (including one suspended member). Division B accommodated eight nations: those who did not gain promotion from last season and teams returning after an absence from competing in recent years. 2022 Euro Beach Soccer League
The 2022 Euro Beach Soccer League was the 25th edition of the ''Euro Beach Soccer League'' (EBSL), the annual, premier competition in European beach soccer contested between men's national teams. It was organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), in a league and play-off format. This season, the competing teams continued to take part in two divisions: the top tier (Division A) and the bottom tier (Division B). Division A shrunk from 12 to 10 teams; nine teams returned from last season, plus Estonia national beach soccer team, Estonia who were promoted, meanwhile two teams did not compete due to bans. Division B accommodated 12 nations: those who did not gain promotion from last season, two debuting countries (Malta national beach soccer team, Malta and Latvia national beach soccer team, Latvia), and teams returning after an absence from competing in recent years. The 2012 Euro Beach Soccer League (''EBSL'') is an annual European competition in beach soccer, organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). The competitions allows national teams to compete in beach soccer in a league format over the summer months. Each season ends with a Superfinal, deciding the competition winner. This season, there are eight teams participating in two divisions in each Stage (there are three Stages this year, as opposed to four) that will face each other in a round-robin system. Division A consists of the 8 top teams in Europe based on the BSWW European Ranking. Division B consists of 12 of the lower ranked teams and new entries to the competition. The 2006 Euro Beach Soccer League, was the ninth edition of the Euro Beach Soccer League (EBSL), the premier beach soccer competition contested between European men's national teams, occurring annually since its establishment in 1998. The league was organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) between June 2 and August 27, 2006, in eight different nations across Europe. This season saw the introduction of a number of changes. This included having Division B nations compete first, attempting to qualify to play in Division A later in the season. Division A also underwent organisational rearrangements – each stage was now played as a knockout tournament involving all eight nations. Italy entered the tournament as defending champions but lost to Spain in the Superfinal semi-finals.
