Aryna Sabalenka defeated Linda Nosková in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–4) to win her 11th WTA Tour singles title. She did not drop a set during the tournament. Nosková reached her first WTA Tour final after saving a match point in the first qualifying round against Anna Kalinskaya, and a further match point in the quarterfinals against Victoria Azarenka. Ashleigh Barty was the reigning champion, but retired from professional tennis in March 2022. Aryna Sabalenka
Aryna Siarhiejeŭna Sabalenka (born 5 May 1998) is a Belarusian professional tennis player. She is currently ranked as the world No. 1 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), and is a former world No. 1 in women's doubles. Sabalenka has won 20 WTA Tour-level singles titles, including three majors at the 2023 Australian Open, 2024 Australian Open, and 2024 US Open, as well as nine WTA 1000 events. Jaimee Fourlis (born 17 September 1999) is an Australian tennis player of Greek descent.
