Western United FC
Western United Football Club is an Australian professional Association football, soccer club. The club is based in the western Melbourne suburb of Tarneit, Victoria, Tarneit, the club aims to represent western Victoria, incorporating the western suburbs (Melbourne), western suburbs of Melbourne; the regional cities of Ballarat, and Geelong; and regional and country towns in western Victoria. The club was first established as part of an expansion process in the country's premier soccer competition, the A-League. It began playing in the 2019–20 A-League season, under Professional sports league organization#Systems around the world, licence from Football Australia (FA). Josh Risdon
Joshua Robert Risdon (born 27 July 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a right-back for Perth Glory in the A-League Men competition in Australia. Risdon has represented Australia on several occasions since debuting in 2015. Club career Risdon made his senior debut for Perth Glory on 28 November 2010, starting against the North Queensland Fury. During his debut season he made six appearances in total, including three straight starts between rounds 24 and 26. In the 2011–12 season Risdon established himself as a regular starting 24 matches at 19 years of age. Ben Garuccio
Benjamin Garuccio (born 15 June 1995) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a left back for Western United in the A-league. Born in Adelaide, Garuccio played youth football at the Australian Institute of Sport before making his professional debut for Melbourne Heart. In 2016, he moved back to Adelaide to play for Adelaide United. Garuccio signed for Scottish club Hearts in May 2018. He returned to Australia in October 2020 with Melbourne City. Connor Thomas Pain (born 11 November 1993) is a Hong Kong-born Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a forward for Al-Bukiryah. Steven Lustica (; born 12 April 1991) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder. Club career Gold Coast On 24 April 2009, it was confirmed that Lustica had been signed by Gold Coast United, after impressing United's assistant coach, Paul Okon, during his tenure as under-18s coach at the Australian Olympic Youth Festival. Michael Klaude Ruhs (born 27 August 2002) is an Australian professional association football, soccer player who currently plays for A-League Men club Western United FC, Western United. Lachlan Andrew Wales (born 19 October 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Perth Glory. Tongo Hamed Doumbia (born 6 August 1989) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Saudi Arabian club Tuwaiq. He has previously played for the Mali national team.
