Tweede Divisie
Tweede Divisie (; ) is the highest amateur (and historically the lowest professional) football league in the Netherlands. It was established in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. Between 1956 and 1960 and between 1962 and 1966, the league consisted of two divisions, Tweede Divisie A and Tweede Divisie B. The league was disbanded in 1971. Six clubs were promoted to the Eerste Divisie (AVV De Volewijckers, De Volewijckers, FC Eindhoven, VVV-Venlo, FC VVV, Fortuna Vlaardingen, PEC Zwolle, PEC and Roda JC Kerkrade, Roda JC), while the other eleven teams became amateur clubs. Plans for a new, amateur Tweede Divisie, to be made up of 4 reserve teams and 14 Derde Divisie, Topklasse clubs, were approved in a Royal Dutch Football Association, KNVB assembly in December 2014. De Treffers
De Treffers is an amateur football club from Groesbeek, Netherlands. The club plays in the Tweede Divisie, the highest amateur league of Dutch football. History It was founded in 1919, and its first chairman was Jan Piepenbreier. De Treffers has been a member of the Royal Dutch Football Association since around 1930. In the seasons 1935–1936 and 1936–1937 it was champion of the eastern district of the Eerste Klasse (First amateur league), at the time the highest league in Dutch amateur football. In both seasons De Treffers failed to win the national amateur championship. After the Second World War De Treffers performed less well. In the 1961–1962 season De Treffers was promoted from Derde Klasse (Third amateur league) to Tweede Klasse (Second amateur league). Sportpark De Westmaat
Sportpark De Westmaat is a sporting complex located in Spakenburg, Netherlands. It is home to Association football, football clubs IJsselmeervogels and SV Spakenburg. The complex has eight fields. There are two stadiums at the sports complex. There are also indoor facilities in case of bad weather. Rode Westmaat The red side of the complex is home to amateur club IJsselmeervogels. In the 2016–17 Derde Divisie, the club averaged about 2,000 fans per game as they secured promotion to the Tweede Divisie. In addition the "red" side has 3 other fields. The main stadium has a capacity of 6,000; making it one of the largest in the Tweede Divisie. There is also an LED board where sponsors of IJsselmeervogels can advertise by means of a message on LED boarding. This was unique in amateur football at the time of installation. Maassluis () is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality had a population of in and covered of which was water. It received town rights in 1811. Rijnsburgse Boys is a football club based in Rijnsburg, Netherlands. The team compete in the Tweede Divisie, the third level of the Dutch football league system. History The club was established on 24 March 1930. It currently plays in the Tweede Divisie. The club won the Saturday Hoofdklasse A title in the 2005–06, 2006–07 and 2008–09 seasons. Since being founded in 1930 till 1957, the club has played on several locations in Rijnsburg. Since 1957 the club moved to Sportpark Middelmors, where it's still playing their homegames. Quick Boys (Katwijkse Voetbal Vereniging Quick Boys) is an amateur football club from Katwijk aan Zee, Netherlands. The club, established on 1 February 1920, is the second most successful amateur football club in the Netherlands, behind IJsselmeervogels. History The club joined the football competition in 1921–22, in the ''Leidsche Voetbal Bond'' (LVB), the football association for Leiden.
