The 2022–23 season is the 141st season in the existence of Stockport County Football Club and the club's first season back in EFL League Two, League Two. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy. Stockport County F
Stockport is a town in Greater Manchester, England, south-east of Manchester, south-west of Ashton-under-Lyne and north of Macclesfield. The River Goyt, Rivers Goyt and River Tame, Greater Manchester, Tame merge to create the River Mersey here. It is the main settlement of the wider Metropolitan Borough of Stockport. At the 2021–2022 United Kingdom censuses, 2021 census, the built up area as defined by the Office for National Statistics had a population of 117,935, and the metropolitan borough had a population of 294,773. Connor Lemonheigh-Evans
Connor Lemonheigh-Evans (born 24 January 1997) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Milton Keynes Dons. He is a Wales under-21 international. He started his career at Bristol City and had loans at Bath City and Torquay United, before joining Torquay United for an undisclosed fee in August 2020. Early career Lemonheigh-Evans was born in Swansea. Club career Having been with Bristol City since 2012, Lemonheigh-Evans signed a professional contract with the club in May 2016. Isaac Tanitoluwaloba Aduraoluwatimileyin Olaofe (born 21 November 1999), also known as "Tanto", is an English professional footballer who plays for club Charlton Athletic as a striker. Olaofe came through the youth system of Millwall, and spent time on loan with Sutton United and St Johnstone. He returned to Sutton on loan for the 2020–21 season, and was the club's top scorer that season with 16 goals, helping them win the league to be promoted to the Football League for the first time in their history. Phillip Anthony Bardsley (born 28 June 1985) is a former professional footballer who played as a full back. He also played international football for the Scotland national team. Bardsley began his career with Manchester United where he made 18 appearances in five seasons at the club. During that time, he was loaned to several clubs, including Royal Antwerp, Burnley, Rangers, Aston Villa and Sheffield United. He joined Sunderland in January 2008 for an initial fee of £850,000. Calum Ross Macdonald (born 18 December 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a left back for club Mansfield Town. Club career In 2016, Macdonald signed his first professional contract with Derby County. In the 2016–17 season, Macdonald was named Derby's under-23 Player of the Year. Chris Hussey
Christopher Ian Hussey (born 2 January 1989) is an English former professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club Hednesford Town. Hussey spent his youth with Brentford and Woking before earning a professional contract with AFC Wimbledon in 2007. He spent time on loan at Windsor & Eton. He helped Wimbledon to progress from the Isthmian League Premier Division to the Conference Premier with two successive promotions. Hussey was signed by Championship club Coventry City in January 2010 and managed to become a regular starter for the team. He rejoined AFC Wimbledon in January 2013, who had by then won a place in the English Football League. Hussey left Wimbledon and signed with Burton Albion in June 2013. Fleetwood Town F
Fleetwood is a coastal town in the Borough of Wyre in Lancashire, England, at the northwest corner of the Fylde. It had a population of 25,939 at the 2011 United Kingdom census, 2011 census. Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur.
