The 2022–23 season was the 116th season in the history of Spezia Calcio and their third consecutive season in the top flight. The club participated in 2022–23 Serie A, Serie A and the 2022–23 Coppa Italia, Coppa Italia. Spezia Calcio
Spezia Calcio is an Italian professional Association football, football club based in La Spezia, Liguria, currently competing in the Serie B. Spezia Calcio was founded in 1906 by the Swiss banker Hermann Hurni (or Hurny in some documents), who played for the early Crystal Palace amateur teams in London during his time there as a student. The first Spezia playing kit, light blue and white, was a second-hand amateur Crystal Palace kit donated to Hurny when he returned to La Spezia. In 1911, following the decision of Alberto Picco and others to honour FC Pro Vercelli 1892, Pro Vercelli as an example of a small team able to beat the big teams, a plain white shirt was adopted with black shorts and black socks, which is still in use today. Salvador 'Salva' Ferrer Canals (born 21 January 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Italian club Spezia. Simone Bastoni (born 5 November 1996) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club Cesena. Club career Spezia Loan to Robur Siena On 20 July 2015, Bastoni was signed by Serie C side Robur Siena. Raimonds Krollis (born 28 October 2001) is a Latvian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Czech First League club Slovan Liberec, and the Latvia national team. Julius Eskelund Beck (born 27 April 2005) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 1st Division club Esbjerg fB, on loan from Italian club Spezia. Eldor Azamat oʻgʻli Shomurodov (born 29 June 1995) is an Uzbek professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Roma and captains the Uzbekistan national team.
