The 2022–23 Odense Boldklub season was the club's 134th season, and their 61st appearance in the Danish Superliga. OB had a terrible prelude to the season by losing all three training games. Winter season Due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the winter off-season was longer than usual. Therefore OB had a three month long training camp starting off with six games in Denmark. Afterwards the club went on training camp to Bangkok for two weeks just before the start of the spring season of the Superliga. Odense Boldklub
Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city of Odense, in southern Denmark. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish 1st Division and their home field is Nature Energy Park. OB's clubhouse is located in Ådalen near Odense River. History Early history OB were founded on 12 July 1887 as ''Odense Cricketklub'', with cricket the only sport. In 1889, football and tennis departments were included in the club, and it changed name to the present ''Odense Boldklub''. The club were then located in Munke Mose (The Monks bog) in Odense. OB moved to Ådalen in 1968, where the club still trains today. In 1916, OB won the province championship for the first time and qualified to the semi-final of the Danish championship. Look So Nicholas Kengkhetkid Mickelson ( Thai: ลูกโซ่ นิโคลัส เก่งเขตกิจ มิคเคลสัน; born 24 July 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for 2. Bundesliga club SV Elversberg. Born in Norway, he plays for the Thailand national team. Club career On 30 August 2021, Danish Superliga club OB confirmed, that Mickelson would join the club on 1 January 2022 on a free agent, when his contract with Norwegian club, Strømsgodset expired. Mickelson signed a pre-contract until June 2025. However, on 31 August 2021 OB confirmed, that Mickelson would instead join the club with immediate effect. International career Youth On 26 May 2022, Mickelson was called up to the Thailand under-23 for the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup.
