Newcastle United Jets Football Club, commonly known as Newcastle Jets, is an Australian professional Association football, soccer club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier competition, the A-League, under Professional sports league organization#Systems around the world, licence from the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) (formerly under licence from Football Australia). Dane Ingham (born 8 June 1999) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a right wing-back for Malaysia Super League club Sabah. Daniel Stynes (born 29 August 1998) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Ykkösliiga club Ekenäs IF. He made his senior debut for Perth Glory as an 18 year old against Heidelberg United on 1 August 2017 in the FFA cup. Kosta Grozos (born 10 August 2000) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder or sweeper for Newcastle Jets, where he is also the current team captain. Mohamed Al-Taay (; born 15 June 2000) is a professional football midfielder who plays for Western Sydney Wanderers. Born in Australia, he represents the Iraq national team. Early life Al-Taay was born in Campbelltown, New South Wales with two older brothers and one younger sister. Jaushua James Elie Sotirio (born 11 October 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for A-League Men club Sydney FC. Born in Australia, he plays for the New Caledonia national team.
