2022–23 National T20 Cup
The 2022–23 National T20 Cup (also known as Kingdom Valley National T20 Cup 2022-23, for sponsorship reasons) was a Twenty20 domestic cricket competition played in Pakistan. It was the 19th season of the National T20 Cup, with the tournament starting from 30 August 2022 and the final being played on 19 September 2022. In August 2022, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures of the tournament. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the defending champions. Background In August 2022, the Pakistani government announced the return of departmental cricket from the 2023 season, meaning this edition is likely to be the last to be carried out in the current format. Pakistan Cricket Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly known as Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP), is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. Khurram Shahzad (cricketer, Born 1999)
Khurram Shahzad (born 25 November 1999) is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays as a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Due to his bowling style he has been compared to former South African international Dale Steyn. Early life Shahzad was born and grew up in Malakwal, a city located in the Mandi Bahauddin District of Punjab, where he learned hard-ball cricket, but due to the lack of facilities he moved to Sargodha to play club cricket before shifting to Lahore, joining the Aligarh Club, before being spotted in 2017, when ahead of the Champions Trophy he was selected by the National Cricket Academy to bowl so the national squad could prepare. Kashif Bhatti (born 25 July 1986) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Balochistan. He represented Karachi Kings in the second edition and Multan Sultans in 3rd season of Pakistan Super League.
