The 2022–23 Liga Portugal 2, also known as Liga Portugal SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the 33rd season of Portuguese football's second-tier league, and the third season under the current Liga Portugal 2 title. A total of 18 teams are competing in this division, including reserve sides from top-flight Primeira Liga teams. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal Meu Super for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga, Liga Portugal and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league. Starting with the 2021–22 season, relegated teams will no longer compete in the Campeonato de Portugal (league), Campeonato de Portugal, which will become the fourth tier, but in a newly created third-level competition named Liga 3 (League 3). The 2022–23 Liga 3 is second season of Portuguese football's third-tier league, following the reorganization which saw the Campeonato de Portugal moving one level down in the Portuguese football league system. Second season, a total of 24 teams compete in this division for the final time, and reduced to 20 teams for next season. Format This competition consists of a first stage with all the teams then proceed to a promotion or relegation series depending on their performance. First Stage In the first stage, the 24 clubs are divided in two series (Série A and B) of 12 teams, according to geographic criteria. In each series, teams play against each other in a home-and-away double round-robin system. Estádio De São Luís
The Estádio de São Luís, also known as Santo Stadium, is a multi-use stadium located in Faro, Algarve, Portugal. It serves as the home stadium for Sporting Clube Farense, a football club based in Faro. The stadium was opened in 1923 and has a seating capacity of around 7,000 spectators. The Estádio Nacional ', also known as Jamor National Sports Centre (), is a football stadium. It is located in the civil parish of Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo, in the municipality of Oeiras, in the southwestern part of Lisbon District. Benfica Campus (formerly Caixa Futebol Campus), also known as , is the training ground and youth academy of Portuguese football club Benfica.
