2022–23 Liga 3 (Indonesia)
2022–23 Liga 3 was the sixth season of the Liga 3 (Indonesia), Liga 3 under the current name and the seventh season under the current Indonesian football league system, league structure, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia. The tournament was organized by PSSI, Provincial Association of PSSI for the provincial round and PSSI for the national round. Teams that qualify for the last 8 of Liga 3 are entitled to promotion to 2023–24 Liga 2 (Indonesia), 2023–24 Liga 2. Karo United F.C., Karo United was the champion in the previous season. The league along with 2022–23 Liga 2 (Indonesia), 2022–23 Liga 2 were abandoned due to a combination of factors, the most notable of them was the Kanjuruhan Stadium disaster. Liga Nusantara ( English: ''Archipelago League''), officially known as PNM Liga Nusantara for sponsorship reasons, is the third-tier of the football competition system in Indonesia, organized by Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The competition started in 2014 after PSSI merged the previous competitions, Liga Indonesia Second Division and Liga Indonesia Third Division. The competition was previously organized in two phases, with the provincial phase operated by PSSI Provincial Associations, where each province held its own regional competition, followed by the national phase operated by PSSI, where the top teams from each province competed at the national level.
