2022–23 Indian Super League Playoffs
The 2023 Indian Super League playoffs was the ninth Indian Super League playoffs, playoffs series of the Indian Super League. The playoffs began on 3 March 2023 and concluded with the 2023 Indian Super League Final, final on 18 March. The top two teams in 2022–23 Indian Super League#Regular season, regular season, Mumbai City FC, Mumbai City and Hyderabad FC, Hyderabad automatically qualified for the semi-finals. Teams finishing 3rd to 6th featured in a single-leg play-off to determine the other two semi-finalists, with ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru advancing. The semi-finals took place over two legs while the final was a one-off match at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao, with ATK Mohun Bagan beating Bengaluru on penalties. Indian Super League Playoffs
The Indian Super League playoffs (ISL Cup) is the annual Playoffs, postseason Tournament#Multi-stage tournaments, elimination tournament of the Indian Super League. Under the current format adopted from 2022, 6 teams qualify for the tournament based on regular season points. ISL awards the regular season champions with the League Winners' Shield, and the playoffs winners with the ISL Cup. Extra time and penalty shootout are used if games end as draw. The higher ranked team from the regular season hosts games if there is only one leg. History Playoffs system The top two clubs after the regular season automatically progress to the ISL playoffs.
