2022–23 Indian Super League
The 2022–23 Indian Super League was the ninth season of the Indian Super League, the first season as the only top division, and the 27th season of top-tier Indian football league system, Indian football. It commenced on 7 October 2022 and concluded with the 2023 Indian Super League Final, final on 18 March 2023. Jamshedpur FC, Jamshedpur were the defending premiers and Hyderabad FC, Hyderabad were the defending champions. Mumbai City FC, Mumbai City became champions by winning their second League Winners' Shield, and Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Mohun Bagan won their first ISL cup title, defeating Bengaluru FC, Bengaluru in the final. Sunil Chhetri (, born 3 August 1984) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club Bengaluru and captains the India national team. Muhammed Ashique Kuruniyan (born 14 June 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward or defender for Indian Super League club Bengaluru and the India national team. The VFF Tri Nation Series, also known as Hưng Thịnh International Football Tournament for sponsorship reason, and the eleventh edition of VFF Cup was a football tournament that consists the Indian, Singaporean and host Vietnamese national teams as participants. Ishan Pandita (born 26 May 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the India national team. Club career Early and youth career Pandita moved to the Philippines, where he attended British school in Manila and took football training.
