2022–23 Greek Basket League
The 2022–23 Basket League was the 11th season of the Greek Basket League, Basket League, the top professional basketball league in Greece, since its establishment in 2012, and the 83rd season of top-flight Greek basketball overall. The season began on 8 October 2022, and concluded on 15 June 2023 with Olympiacos B.C., Olympiacos being crowned champions for the second year in a row, and 14th time in their history, after defeating eternal rivals Panathinaikos 3–1 in the Finals series. The Greek Basketball League (GBL), and also known as the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League (GBL) for sponsorship reasons, is the Greek basketball league system, first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by the Hellenic Basketball Association (abbreviated as HEBA; ), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (abbreviated as HBF; ). Apollon Patras Indoor Hall, also known as ''Perivola Indoor Hall'', is an indoor sports arena that is located in Patras, Greece. The arena is known for its unique roof construction, which is made entirely out of wood. The arena belongs to the local multi-sporting club, A.S. Apollon, and it is the home of the club's professional basketball (Apollon Patras) and volleyball teams. The arena has a seating capacity of 3,500 people. Ano Liosia () is a town and a former municipality in the northern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Fyli, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 38.447 km2. Lavrio, Lavrion or Laurium (; (later ); from Middle Ages until 1908: Εργαστήρια ''Ergastiria'') is a town in southeastern part of Attica, Greece.
