2022–23 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2022–23 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 44th FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 26th official World Cup season in ski flying, and the 12th World Cup season for women. The men's season was the longest in the World Cup history; it started in November 2022 in Wisła, Poland and concluded in April 2023 in Planica, Slovenia. The women's season also started in Wisła and concluded in Lahti, Finland. Ryōyū Kobayashi (men's) and Marita Kramer (women's) were the defending overall champions from the 2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, previous season. In this season, the Super Team competition was held for the first time, consisting of only two ski jumpers from each country. It was also the season in which a women's ski flying event was officially held for the first time, although the competition was not part of the World Cup season. Halvor Egner Granerud
Halvor Egner Granerud (born 29 May 1996) is a Norwegian ski jumper. He is one of the most successful contemporary ski jumpers, having won 25 World Cup individual competitions, the World Cup overall title twice, and the Four Hills Tournament once. At the Nordic World Ski Championships, Granerud's best achievements include silver medals in the team and mixed team competitions. He has also won team gold and individual silver at the Ski Flying World Championships. Career Granerud made his Ski Jumping World Cup debut in 2015 and got his best result to win the World Cup event in Kuusamo/Ruka in November 2020. Granerud was part of the team that won the FIS Junior World Championship in 2015, together with Joacim Ødegård Bjøreng, Phillip Sjøen and Johann André Forfang. Hochfirst Ski Jump
The Hochfirst Ski Jump (''German: Hochfirstschanze'') is a ski jumping hill located in Titisee-Neustadt in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The ski jump is named after the mountain Hochfirst (1197 m) in the Black Forest. It is the biggest natural ski jumping hill. The Rukatunturi ski jumping hill is a complex of Finnish ski jumping hills located in Ruka – a town located north of Kuusamo – and is the largest ski jumping hill in Finland.
