2022–23 Egyptian Third Division
The 2022–23 Egyptian Third Division was the 43rd edition of the Egyptian Third Division, the second Egyptian semi-professional level for Association football, football clubs, since its establishment in 1977. The season started on 10 October 2022, and concluded on 3 June 2023. This was the last season for the league to represent the third tier league of the Egyptian football league system. Starting from the 2023–24 season, two new leagues, Egyptian Second Division A, Second Division A (professional league, second tier) and Egyptian Second Division B, Second Division B (semi-professional league, third tier) replaced the existing Egyptian Second Division; which meant that the Third Division would be level four starting from that season. Egyptian Third Division
The Egyptian Third Division () is an Egyptian professional football league that represented the third tier of the Egyptian football league system until 2023. It is administered by the Egyptian Football Association. It is below the Egyptian Second Division, and above the regional league Egyptian Fourth Division; the lowest football league in the country. The league was reformed in 1977, and consists of multiple groups covering different parts of Egypt, with the winner of each group either gaining automatic promotion to the next level, or earning a place in the promotion play-offs, depending on the number of groups and teams participating. Baltim (  ) is a city in the Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, in the north coast of Egypt. History The second part of the town's name preserves "end, furthest part (of Egypt)".
