2022–23 Czech National Football League
The 2022–23 Czech National Football League (known as the ''Fortuna národní liga'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 30th season of the Czech Republic's second tier Association football, football league. The season started on 29 July 2022. The season format is unchanged from last season, each team will play in the league format home and away matches. The top-ranked team will we promoted to the Czech First League, the two teams positioned 2nd and 3rd will play a play-out with two teams from the first league positioned 14th and 15th in a home and away format. The two lowest-ranked teams will be relegated directly to the third tier. Czech National Football League
The Czech National Football League (, ''FNL''), known as Chance Národní Liga due to sponsorship reasons, is the second level professional association football league in the Czech Republic. Before 2013 it was known as 2. liga or Druhá liga. The top team each season is eligible for promotion to the Czech First League, while the second and third placed teams enter play offs for possible promotion. The league replaced the I.ČNL (I. Česká národní liga; First Czech National League), which had been established following the end of the nationwide Czechoslovak Second League in 1977. FC Zbrojovka Brno
FC Zbrojovka Brno is a professional football club based in the city of Brno, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic and named after Zbrojovka Brno, a firearms manufacturer. Drnovice (Vyškov District)
Drnovice (; ) is a municipality and village in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,400 inhabitants. Etymology The name is derived from the personal name Drn, meaning "the village of Drn's people". Geography Drnovice is located about west of Vyškov and east of Brno. Sportovní areál Drnovice is a football stadium in Drnovice, in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The game hosted two friendly matches of the Czech Republic national football team. History The stadium opened in 1955. It was used in the Czech First League between 1993 and 2002, and again in the 2004–05 season. It hosted UEFA Cup matches in the 2000–01 season, including against TSV 1860 Munich. The stadium hosted Drnovice's matches in the second tier for the last time in the 2005–06 season. Athletic Club Sparta Praha B, commonly known as Sparta Prague B or Sparta Prague u-21, is the reserve team of Czech First League club AC Sparta Prague and plays in the Czech National Football League in the second tier of the Czech football league system. MFK Vyškov
MFK Vyškov is a Czech football club located in the town of Vyškov in the South Moravian Region. From 2021 to 2025, it played in the Czech National Football League, the second level of Czech football. Because the club does not have a stadium that would allow it to play professional league matches, it has decided to play only in lower amateur tiers from 2025. Slezský FC Opava is a professional football club based in Opava, Czech Republic. The club plays in the Czech National Football League, the second of Czech football after being relegated from the Czech First League at the end of the 2020–21 season. MFK Chrudim is a Czech football club located in Chrudim. It plays in the Czech National Football League, which is in the second tier of the Czech Republic football league system. Moravian-Silesian Football League
The Moravian-Silesian Football League (MSFL) () is one of the third level football leagues in the Czech Republic (the other is the Bohemian Football League) headquartered in Olomouc. The league comprises teams from the historic regions of Moravia and Silesia and partially also Bohemia. The league was formed in 1991 during the Czechoslovakia era, replacing the former ''II.ČNL'' (II. Česká národni liga; Second Czech National League) at the third tier of Czechoslovak football alongside sister league ČFL. The winner of MSFL is promoted to the Czech National Football League. 2021–22 Czech First League
The 2021–22 Czech First League, known as the Fortuna Liga is the 29th season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football for professional clubs since its 1993 establishment. SK Slavia Prague were the reigning champions. The season started on 24 July 2021. The first half of the season had 19 rounds, finishing on 19 December 2021, and the other half commenced on 5 February 2022. The season ended on 14 May 2022 with two extra play-out fixtures on 19 and 22 May 2022. The season format was changed back to be played with 16 clubs, each team playing in the league format home and away matches, before the league split into three sections: championship, play-off and relegation groups. FK Viktoria Žižkov
FK Viktoria Žižkov is a Czech professional football club from the district of Žižkov in Prague. The club competes in the Czech National Football League, the second tier of football in the country. It won the Czechoslovak First League title in the 1927–28 season, and has also won two editions of the Czech Cup.
