The 2022–23 season is the 140th season in the existence of Bristol Rovers Football Club and the club's first season back in League One since the 2020–21 Bristol Rovers F.C. season, 2020–21 season following their promotion in the 2021–22 Bristol Rovers F.C. season, previous season. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy. Jordan Bernard Rossiter (born 24 March 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Oldham Athletic, on loan from club Shrewsbury Town. Rossiter came through the academy at his local club Liverpool where they described him as an "authoritative central midfield presence" with "an extensive passing repertoire with either foot and an eye for goal".
