2022–23 Bahraini Premier League
The 2022–23 Bahraini Premier League (also known as Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League) was the 66th top-level football season in Bahrain. The season started on 11 September 2022 and ended on 18 May 2023. Team location League table Results Relegation play-offs In this edition of the relegation play-offs, the ninth and tenth-placed teams of the Bahraini Premier League were joined by the third and fourth-placed teams of the 2022–23 Bahraini Second Division in a four-team group where each team played each other once. The top two teams of the group qualified for the 2023–24 edition of the Bahraini Premier League and the bottom two teams qualified for the 2023–24 edition of the Bahraini Second Division. The relegation play-offs started on 23 May and ended on 31 May 2023. Bahraini Premier League
The Bahraini Premier League is the main domestic football competition in the kingdom of Bahrain. Currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, the first season was held in 1956-1957. The winners of the domestic championship qualify for the AFC Champions League Two. The championship is currently contested by 12 clubs. Structure Current structure 12 clubs currently play a two round robin set of fixtures totaling 22 games in order to determine the league champions. Although games are theoretically to be played on a home and away basis, almost all games are played at the National Stadium. The eleventh and twelfth-placed clubs are relegated with the ninth and tenth entering the relegation play-offs. Amin Farid Mohammad Al-Shanaineh (; born 7 April 2003) is a Jordanian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Jordanian Pro League side Al-Faisaly and the Jordan national team. Club career Early career Al-Shanaineh began his career at Al-Ramtha, before moving to Al-Faisaly during his youth years.
