The 2022–23 Armenian Cup was the 32nd edition of the football competition in Armenia. The competition began on 4 October 2022 and ended on 13 May, with Urartu lifting their 4th title. Teams First round On 20 September 2022 the draw for the First Round of the Armenian Cup took place, drawing 4 clubs from the Armenian First League with the 8 lowest ranked clubs from the previous season of the Armenian Premier League together. Quarterfinals On 19 October, the draw for the Quarterfinal of the cup took place. Semi–finals On 30 November, the draw for the Semi–final of the cup took place. FC Urartu
Football Club Urartu (, translated ''Futbolayin Akumb Urartu''), commonly known as Urartu, is an Armenian professional association football, football team based in the capital Yerevan that currently plays in the Armenian Premier League. The club won the Armenian Cup four times, in 1992, 2007, 2016, and 2023. In 2013–2014, they won the Armenian Premier League for the first time in their history. Agdon Santos Menezes (born 26 January 1993), sometimes known as just Agdon, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward, most recently for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik. Career Born in Salvador, Bahia, Agdon Menezes is a youth product of Esporte Clube Vitória, playing for two seasons with their under-20 side and helping them win the Copa do Brasil Sub-20 in 2012. Football Club Alashkert (), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011.
