The 2022–23 season was the 54th season in the existence of Accrington Stanley F.C., Accrington Stanley Football Club and the club's fifth consecutive season in EFL League One, League One. Accrington is a town in the Hyndburn borough of Lancashire, England. It lies about east of Blackburn, west of Burnley, east of Preston, north of Manchester and is situated on the culverted River Hyndburn. Commonly abbreviated by locals to "Accy", the town has a population of 35,456 according to the 2011 census. Accrington is the largest settlement and the seat of the Hyndburn borough council. Brackley is a market town and civil parish in the West Northamptonshire unitary authority area of Northamptonshire, England. Nathan Abayomi Delfouneso (born 2 February 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker. Having graduated from Aston Villa's academy Delfouneso broke into their first team in 2008, mainly being an impact substitute over the next few years, he scored 9 goals in 52 appearances, including two goals in the club's 2008-09 UEFA Cup campaign.
